In Canada
The Canadian firm Micro Centre Pythagore Inc. is associated with the completion of work in education for many years. We present some of the projects that were carried out in Canada.
Here is the identification of Canadian provinces and three territories associated to technical support projects or assessment in learning achievement.
School Achievement Indicators Program (SAIP) Between 1993 and 2004, the Council of Ministers of the Education, Canada (CMEC) administered the Schools Achievement Indicators Program (SAIP), a cyclic program of pan Canadian evaluation concerning the achievement of students in mathematics, in reading and in science. Micro Centre Pythagore carried out technical tasks of data processing. Another program was set up in 2005 under the name of the Pan-Canadian Assessment Program (PCAP). Micro Centre Pythagore is associated with this project for aspects connected with sampling, data processing and statistical analyses.
Education Quality and Accountability Office (EQAO) received as mandate to heighten the level of responsibility and contribute to stress the quality of the education in Ontario. Between 1996 and 1998, several technical tasks were entrusted to Micro Centre Pythagore within the framework of this operation
During the school year 2000-2001, the Ministry of Education of Quebec published a project of politics on learning evaluation. With the aim of consulting the concerned bodies, the Ministry led a vast consultation from December, 2000 till March, 2001. Micro Centre Pythagore carried out works of statistical compilations.
